iPod Touch begins shipping in Canada

I recently inquired as to the shipping date for my free iPod touch from Transcendent Innovations (TRAINN), the well-known Incentivized Freebie Network which operates YouriPodTouch4Free.com and YourFreeiStuff.com (both which offer a free iPod touch as a prize). Because I live in Canada, iPod touch shipments were not yet underway. Canadian freebie enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that both Transcendent Innovations and a representative from FutureShop (TRAINN's supplier) have confirmed that the new iPod touch will be shipping out to Canadian addresses on October 2nd.
As always, the rest of the world is behind on shipping dates for new products, and Canada's shipments of the iPod touch are no exception. While Apple stores and big box retailers across the states began selling the new iPod touch well prior to the original release date of Sept 28th, Canadian store shelves remained bare. Luckily, however, the wait is almost over and the iPod touch will be on sale in Canada as soon as October 2nd. Online orders will also be filled at this time - so if you are waiting to receive your free iPod touch from Transcendent Innovations or any other freebie network, check your mailbox within the next couple of weeks and you're likely to find a pleasant surprise!

The iPod touch is already on sale. The 8GB iPod touch is $329 Canadian, and the 16GB iPod touch is $449 Canadian. You can get either of them for free by following the instructions on this site! I just received my free 16GB iPod touch a couple of days ago.
