Abilene Christian University will be giving out a free iPod touch or free iPhone to freshmen students this fall. Apple popular devices will take their place as part of Abilene's education system in this groundbreaking approach to learning.
Students who receive a free iPod touch or free iPhone will be using 15 web applications developed by the university to aid in their classroom studies. In-class quizzes and studies will be conducted using the free iPod touch and free iPhone wireless capabilities, and the email function can be used for homework alerts.
